A sophisticated vintage Tiffany & Co. Italian sterling silver pill box, beautifully accented with rich green enamel surrounded by eight geometric black enamel panels separated by polished sterling silver. This petite eight-sided hinged box combines classic Tiffany craftsmanship with an unusually bold Art Deco-inspired design.

Crafted in 925 sterling silver, the box is clearly marked “TIFFANY & CO. / STERLING 925” on the underside. Tiffany's connection to sterling silver is particularly significant: in 1851, the company became the first American firm to institute the .925 sterling standard, which was later adopted as the U.S. standard.

The box retains its Tiffany & Co. presentation box and Tiffany Blue dust pouch, making this an especially appealing example for the Tiffany collector or collector of fine silver.
