This early 1900’s rectangular board game is elaborately painted blue and white under glaze with opposing figure panels separated by inscribed panels and sits on four corner feet. This fabulous set comes with 32 porcelain glazed inscribed chess pieces with felt bottoms: 16 blue and 16 red. The details and craftmanship on this rare set are exquisite!
