A spectacular and highly collectible Jay Strongwater occasional table featuring an elaborate enameled metal flora-and-fauna design accented throughout with hand-set Swarovski crystals.

This exceptional sculptural table features intertwining ivy vines, foliage and colorful flowers populated by whimsical jeweled creatures including a dragonfly, butterfly, frog and lizard. Richly colored enamel and brilliant Swarovski crystals create the extraordinary detail and jewel-like appearance for which Jay Strongwater is renowned.

The table is topped with a removable 16" diameter beveled glass top, allowing the elaborate sculptural decoration beneath to remain beautifully visible.

Comparable Jay Strongwater enameled and jeweled occasional tables were retailed through prestigious luxury retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, with a documented example retaining its original $12,500 Saks Fifth Avenue receipt. A similarly sized 21" diameter x 26" high Jay Strongwater enameled metal and Swarovski crystal-set occasional table from The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor sold at Christie's in 2011 for $16,250.

Condition Report: Very good pre-owned condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Approximately seven small accent stones are missing throughout, one decorative leaf has become detached at its attachment point, the tip of the lizard's tail is missing, the decorative flower/stem element is missing, and the removable beveled glass top shows surface scratches from use. These minor imperfections do not detract from the magnificent overall appearance of the table. Please see the final two photographs for close-up views of the detached leaf and missing flower/stem element.
