A magnificent early Jay Strongwater holiday ornament created exclusively for Neiman Marcus in 2002.

This substantial 4" mouth-blown glass ball ornament features a rich caramel-brown glass ground beautifully decorated with an elaborate celestial motif of shimmering stars and crescent moons. Intricate hand-painted gold detailing and glitter accents surround the ornament, while numerous hand-set Swarovski crystals add exceptional sparkle throughout. A wide jeweled gold band encircles the center, creating a particularly rich and dramatic presentation.

The ornament retains its original Jay Strongwater 2002 heart-shaped signature tag, accented with an amber Swarovski crystal.

Even better, this collectible ornament comes complete with its original Jay Strongwater presentation box and information card. The card identifies the ornament as part of the holiday collection designed by Jay Strongwater exclusively for Neiman Marcus in 2002 and confirms that each mouth-blown glass piece was individually hand painted and hand set with Swarovski crystals.

The original box is additionally marked “Box Made in Germany / Content Made in Poland.”

Richly jeweled and wonderfully dramatic, this celestial Stars & Moons ornament is a beautiful example of Jay Strongwater's early holiday designs and a striking addition to a collection of his hand-painted glass Christmas ornaments.

Approximately 4” diameter

Condition Report: Excellent to very good pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or missing stones observed. The original custom foam insert in the box shows age-related deterioration, with some areas beginning to come apart as shown in last picture; however, this does not affect the ornament itself.
