Jay Strongwater Shen Lung Swarovski Crystals Dragon Figurine with Green Orb

An extraordinary Jay Strongwater Shen Lung Dragon Figurine from the celebrated Lustre Collection, exquisitely handcrafted with richly colored enamel and hundreds of sparkling Swarovski crystals.

The dramatic serpentine dragon is depicted in an elegant, undulating pose, with intricate sculptural detailing extending from his expressive horned head and flowing mane to his jeweled body, clawed feet and elaborate feathered tail. Warm shades of copper, bronze, gold, deep brown and green are beautifully layered throughout the hand-enameled metalwork and accented by an extensive array of individually set Swarovski crystals.

One of the most distinctive details is the polished green orb held beneath the dragon's front paw, providing a striking contrast to the warm jewel tones of the body.

The figurine bears the applied JAY STRONGWATER® maker's plaque on the back right paw.

Shen Lung is a beautifully elaborate example of Jay Strongwater's highly collectible jeweled decorative objects and an impressive display piece from the discontinued Lustre Collection.

Approximate Measurements: 8.5" long x 3" wide x 4.5" high

Condition Report: Excellent pre-owned condition. Upon careful inspection under magnification, only one small missing crystal was found on the tail, as shown in the final photograph. The dragon displays beautifully with vibrant hand-painted enamel and extensive Swarovski crystal embellishment.
