Jay Strongwater Jeweled Padlock & Key Decorative Keychain

A beautifully detailed Jay Strongwater decorative keychain featuring an ornate jeweled padlock accented by a charming dimensional key.

The front of the padlock is lavishly embellished with sparkling Swarovski crystals in rich shades of red, green, purple and amber surrounding a hand-enameled green keyhole. Four larger clear crystals provide additional sparkle against the intricately textured antiqued gold-tone metalwork.

An attached miniature key hangs from a delicate chain beside the padlock, while the reverse is finished in deep burgundy enamel with an elegant raised decorative motif and a single green crystal accent.

The piece is completed by a colorful hand-enameled flourish connecting the padlock to the large decorative ring, which is engraved “JAY STRONGWATER” along the top, a wonderful finishing detail and another example of Strongwater's meticulous craftsmanship.

Even better, this example retains its original Jay Strongwater hangtag identifying the piece as “PADLOCK KEYCHAIN,” Style #SDH6524421.

Please Note: Although Jay Strongwater's original hangtag identifies this piece as a “PADLOCK KEYCHAIN,” the large upper ring is solid rather than a conventional split key ring and does not appear designed to open for the attachment of keys. We therefore consider this primarily a decorative collectible or ornamental accessory rather than a functional everyday keychain.

A charming addition to a collection of retired Jay Strongwater pieces and a beautiful decorative accessory for display or ornamentation.

Condition Report: Excellent to very good pre-owned condition with no missing crystals or damage observed. Minor wear consistent with previous use, but nothing significant. Original hangtag remains attached.
