The desk features a richly figured mahogany top with striking geometric veneer work, an elegantly shaped edge, fluted apron, carved acanthus details, and slender fluted legs terminating in carved paw feet. Two spacious felt-lined drawers provide concealed storage, with one drawer fitted with a removable pine wood pencil and pen tray.

The coordinating chair beautifully complements the desk with its distinctive pierced splat back accented by carved floral rosettes, gently curved frame, and upholstered seat.
