We are pleased to offer this breathtaking French Louis XV style marble top commode with cabriole legs, circa 1900’s. The body is constructed from solid wood featuring intricate marquetry and satinwood or kingwood inlays, elaborately embellished with ormolu mounts throughout! This commode / chest of drawers is equipped with three spacious dovetailed drawers (middle drawer locks and comes with key) and a removable salmon pink beveled marble top with striations and veins of white.

The details and craftmanship on gorgeous commode are exquisite and is certain to bring a touch of French elegance to any home while being cherished for many years to come.

Condition Report: Very good structural sound condition with some minor imperfections. Shows minor scratches, patina (heavy in some places), some screws on the mounts appear to have been replaced, and marble has about a 1” chip in the back (see last picture). All the imperfections listed are normal and expected from age and use and absolutely does not take away the beauty of this piece.
