An exceptional four-piece sterling silver coffee and tea service by renowned German silversmith Eugen Ferner, beautifully crafted in Germany.

Elegant and substantial, this complete service includes a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl and creamer. Each piece features a graceful pear-shaped body raised on ornate scrolling feet, richly detailed floral and foliate decoration, sculptural handles and beautifully formed spouts accented with applied floral ornamentation. Particularly striking are the dimensional rose-form finials crowning the hinged lids, a decorative motif repeated on the covered sugar bowl.

Backstamp: Each piece is marked STERLING 925 / EUGEN FERNER / 1969.

• Coffee Pot: 11 ½” wide x 10" high (777 grams)
• Teapot: 11” wide x 8 ½” high (798 grams)
• Covered Sugar Bowl: 7” wide x 5” high (354 grams)

Condition Report: Very good estate condition with normal surface scratches and light signs of use consistent with age. Hinges are tight and work properly. While inspecting this set, I noticed a small ding on one of the pieces but have not been able to locate it again.
