Crafted in Germany between 1843–1878, this fine hard-paste porcelain example is formed on Meissen-inspired molds and features two distinct hand-painted European harbor scenes, each rendered with impressive detail and depth. The domed lid is finished with an ornate sculpted gilt rose finial, adding both elegance and sculptural presence.

The quality of the painting, refined gilding, and early mark make this a highly desirable example from the Helena Wolfsohn workshop.
