We are pleased to offer this rare breathtaking Altobel Antonio hand carved solid European limewood Venetian Rococo style grandfather floor clock. The details on this timepiece are exquisite featuring hand lacquered “Craquel” on a cream background with decorative pastel scrolling, gilded edging and three prominent sculpted cherub angels. Clock face and brass pendulum are housed separately behind easily accessible glass framed doors with an astrological chart and dynamic date of the month display at top. This elegant timepiece stands beautifully on four ornate legs fastened by screws.

Dimensions: 86" high x 26” wide at base x 10” deep.

Mechanism: Ultra-precision Kieninger German mechanical movement with 4/4 Westminster chime, Automatic night shut-off (10:00 pm - 7:15 am) and Lyre pendulum.

These floor clocks were special made in Italy upon order and sold new for over $10,000. We are unable to find another one like this one listed anywhere in the resale marketplace!
