Description: A stunningly gorgeous Royal Vienna portrait plate entitled “Bachantin.” Exquisitely hand painted in soft colors showcasing a beautiful woman with long, flowing brown hair adorned with grapes and leaves capturing her serene expression framed within a gold-gilded panel. The border is elaborately decorated with a radiant gilt design, showcasing an intricate floral, scrolls, and beaded motif highlighted over a rich cobalt blue background.

Measurements: 9.5” diameter

Hallmarks / Authenticity: blue underglaze beehive mark that was used from 1864 onwards / titled “Bachantin” in red script / number “55” stamped in gold / number “24” impress mark

Condition Report: Very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Only shows minor surface wear and a few missing gilt dots, nothing significant and absolutely does not affect the appearance of this gorgeous plate.
